DKW (Das Klein Wunder) manufactured both automobiles and motorcycles, creating their first motorcycle in 1921. The company was founded by Jørgen Skafte Rasmussen in 1906, but under a different name: Motorenwerke Rasmussen. Only in 1922 was the DKW name trademarked and full production manufacture began.
